Beauty

-Nude Blush Quad – Burberry

This is my favorite formula in an eyeshadow that I’ve ever tried. It blends and applies like a dreeeeaaam. When I purchased this, I wanted something that I would be able to wear almost every day, in other words, a neutral palette. For me, this still falls into the neutrals category, without it being your usual bronze/brown color scheme. This isn’t the most expensive quad out there, but it’s still quite pricey. Worth every single penny.

-Filmstar Bronze and Glow – Charlotte Tilbury

This is a bronzer-highlighter duo from renowned makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury. I’m not a fan of shimmery bronzers, but when they’re completely matte, they can make you look a bit muddy. This bronzer is not too cool or too warm, and has just the right amount of subtle shimmer. I don’t use highlighter on a daily basis, but it’s done okay when I’ve used it. You can apply just a hint for a soft bronzed look or build it up. I also used this duo a lot in my eyes; I applied the highlighter as a shadow and bit of bronzer in the crease for a quick look.

-Earthshine Mineralize Skin Finish – MAC Cosmetics

This was a product that I bought a few years ago and didn’t quite get a lot of use. The highlighter is too gold, and the color too purple/dark to use as either blush, highlight or contour. This month, however, I found that it makes the perfect eye shadow color. You can actually make a lot different easy eye looks with this Skin Finish and they take 30 seconds to make. I love alternative uses for different products, you just have to experiment and play a little.

-Teddy eye liner – MAC Cosmetics

This is my favorite brown eyeliner from MAC. It looks amazinggg smudged on the upper lash line. Sometimes you don’t need eye shadow for a gorgeous daytime look. This month I’ve been using it alone on the upper lids and smudged it with a pencil brush. Apply some mascara and voilà- another quick, easy eye look.

-Lovestruck – Vera Wang

I bought this Vera Wang perfume last year and used it a bit, but then forgot about it for a while. It’s fresh, floral and subtle, and lasts about 4-5 hours on me. I don’t usually go for floral scents, but this is different and not overbearing. Love love love.

Mango Mandarin Smoothie– Red Mango

My favorite fruit is mango, and this is the only time of the year that Red Mango makes my favorite smoothie. It’s the perfect mix of mango, mandarin, banana and pure heaven. Try it out! It’s sooooo good in all this heat!

TV:

-The Royals

This is a new show by E! Entertainment. I have to admit that when I watched the first episode, I didn’t really like it. I gave it another chance the following week and something about the corrupt, scandalous lives of british monarchy drew me in. Now I can’t wait for Sundays! Here’s the trailer if you’re interested.

Movie:

-Insurgent

I loved this movie, to be quite honest, if you’re a true fan of the books, you’d be kind of mad. I have mixed feelings. It’s amazing to see one of my all time favorite novels on the big screen, but they changed a lot of the story. Still, it’s worth watching.

-Cinderella

This movie was pure magic and color and sparkle and perfection. Visually STUNNINGGG. It’s SO worth the watch, even you’re not a fan of the original tale.

-Cuarteto Nude Bush – Burberry

Esta es mi fórmula favorita de sombras que he probado. Se difumina y aplica como un sueñoooooo. Cuando la compré, quería algo que pudiera usar casi todos los días, en otras palabras, una paleta de colores neutros. Para mí, esta todavía cae bajo la categoría de neutros, sin ser la típica paleta bronce/café. Esta no es el cuarteto de sombras en el mercado, pero sí es bastante carito. Vale cada centavo, en serio.

-Filmstar Bronze and Glow – Charlotte Tilbury

Este es un dúo de bronzer e iluminador de la línea de la renombrada makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury. No soy fan de los bronzers que tienen brillo, pero cuando son completamente mate, puede hacer ver la piel sucia, o muy café. Este bronzer no es ni muy cálido, ni muy frío, y tiene la cantidad justa de brillo sutil para perfilar el rostro y crear sombras de una forma natural. Puedes aplicar solo un poquito en el rostro para un leve bronceado, o realmente cargarlo para perfilar las zonas que tú quieras. También uso este dúo en los ojos; apliqué el iluminador en todo el párpado y el bronzer en la cuenca para un look súper rápido.

-Earthshine Mineral Skin Finish – MAC Cosmetics

Este producto lo compré hace unos años y no lo usé mucho. El iluminador es muy dorado, y el púrpura muy oscuro para usar ya sea de blush, iluminador o contour. Sin embargo, este mes me di cuenta que hace el color perfecto de sombra. En verdad se pueden hacer varios colores de este Skin Finish, y cada look toma 30 segundos hacer. Me encantan los usos alternativos de diferentes productos, solo tienes que experimentar un poquito.

-Delineador Teddy – MAC Cosmetics

Es es mi delineador café favorito de MAC. Se ve increíbleeeee difuminado en la línea de pestañas superior. A veces no necesito sombra para un look de día muy lindo. Este mes lo he usado solo, aplicando una línea gruesa de delineador y difuminándola con una pencil brush. Aplico mascara y voilà-otro look fácil y rápido.

-Lovestruck – Vera Wang

Compré este perfume de Vera Wang el año pasado, y lo he usado un poquito, pero se me olvidó que lo tenía por un tiempo. Es fresco, flora y sutil, y perdura entre 4-5 horas. Usualmente no me gustan las fragancias florales, pero esta es diferente y no abrumador. La amo amo amo.

Smoothie Mango Mandarin – Red Mango

Mi fruta favorita es el mango, y esta es la única época del año en que Red Mango hace mi smoothie favorito. Es la mezcla perfecta de mango, mandarina, banano y cielo puro. Pruébalo! Es taaaaaaan rico con todo este calor!

TV

-The Royals

Este es un nuevo show por E! Entertainment. Tengo que admitir que cuando vi el primer episodio, no me gustó. Le di una segunda oportunidad la siguiente semana, y hay algo sobre la vida corrupta y escandalosa de la monarquía británica que me gustó. Ahora no puedo esperarme a los domingos! Aquí les dejo el trailer por si les interesa.

Pelicula:

Insurgente

Amé esta película, pero para ser honesta, si eres realmente fan de los libros, vas a enojarte un poquito. Tengo sentimientos encontrados Es increíble ver uno de mis libros favoritos en el cine, pero han cambiado mucho en la historia. Sin embargo, aun pienso que vale la pena verla.

Cenicienta

Esta película es pura magia y color y sparkle y perfección. Visualmente IMPRESIONANTE. Vale MUCHO la pena ir a verla, aun si no eres fan del cuento original.
