ADOC es una de las compañías de calzado líderes en el país y la región, y siempre están buscando nuevas maneras de innovar y llevar nuevos diseños a sus clientes. Teniendo todo esto en cuenta, ADOC presentó su Holiday Collection esta semana con una pasarela y colección que llamaron Rockabilly.
Rockabilly fue un show muy diferente de lo que estamos acostumbradas, especialmente cuando tiene que ver con moda de calzado. Se basó en la historia del rock, desde sus inicios en el rock ‘n roll, hasta los años 90 y la era grunge. Hay muchas cosas de la vida cotidiana que inspiran a los diseñadores, y la música es una de ellas. Tener la música como centro de este evento encaja a la perfección. La vibra percibida fue increíble; desde las invitaciones, la banda en vivo, maquillaje y peinados- todo fue muy bien pensado y ejecutado.
Los zapatos que vimos fueron de muchos colores y estilos. La paleta cromática varió desde los taupes, azules eléctricos, metálicos y platas. Pudimos ver opciones perfectas para la temporada de eventos que se acerca- navidad, año nuevo, graduaciones, bodas. Rockabilly tiene algo para cualquier evento y ocasión, ya que también vimos zapatillas y zapatos bajos. Los niños también fueron una GRAN parte del show y la pasarela, y pudimos ver moda de niños, la cual fue encantadora y con mucho estilo. Ellos dominaron la pasarela mano a mano de los modelos, y le dieron al evento una vibra incluso más fresca y divertida. Esta no fue una pasarela rígida, los modelos se divirtieron y hasta bailaron al final.
Otra cosa que también nos encantó es que ADOC se alió con los diseñadores de moda de la UFG para poder mostrar sus colecciones una vez más. El apoyo de ADOC a estos diseñadores emergentes es muy admirable. Sólo podemos esperar que otras marcas y compañías sigan sus pasos y ayuden al desarrollo de esta industria a nivel nacional y regional.

ADOC is one of the leading shoe companies in the country, and is always looking for new ways to innovate and brings new designs to their customers. Having all of this in mind, ADOC presented their Holiday Collection this week with a runway show and collection that they named Rockabilly.
Rockabilly was a very different show from what we’re used to seeing, especially where shoe fashion is concerned. It was based in the history of rock, from its beginnings in rock ‘n roll, to the 90s and a more grunge era. There are many things in life that can inspire designers, and music is one of them. Having music as the center of this event seemed just fitting and natural. The vibe was amazing; from the invites, to the band playing live, hair and makeup- everything was well thought-out and executed.
The shoes came in many colors and styles. The palette varied from taupes, metallics, electric blues and silvers. There are perfect options for the holiday/event season that’s approaching- Christmas, New Year’s Eve, graduations, weddings. Rockabilly had something for any event and occasion, since we also saw flat shows and sandals. Kids were also a BIG part of the show, and we were able to see some kids’ fashion, which was both adorable and stylish. They walked the runway hand in hand with the models and gave the entire event an even cooler vibe. This was not a stiff show, the models were having fun and even danced at the end.
Another thing that we also loved is that ADOC partnered with the fashion designers from UFG to allow them to showcase their collections one more time. ADOC’s support for these up-and-coming designers is very admirable. We can only hope that other brands and companies follow in their footsteps to help develop the fashion industry in the country and region.
