Eyelashes: My eternal struggle! … That’s how I refer to them.

All of us have different struggles and battles when it comes to makeup. Some just choose to rest their case and some like me, we’ll just keep fighting!

Thanks to my rebel very straight eyelashes, I think I have tried almost everything that’s in the market. After years of trial and error I finally found what works best for me. If your eyelashes are a constant battle for you too, don’t worry there’s hope!

The first procedure I will recommend if you are really tired of trying new mascaras and all kind of eyelash curlers, is grab your phone and make an appointment at Vidal’s! They will perm your eyelashes – Yes! Permanently curled eyelashes – this is the easiest way to do it!

The procedure takes about an hour and you can choose how curled you want them. Once you get there, they will take you to a massage bed where you can take a kick nap in the company of relaxing scents and music while they work their magic on your lashes.

How long they last curled will depend on how fast your eyelashes grow, mine tend to last no more than three months. It’s important to avoid waterproof mascara and to gently remove your eye makeup, this will prevent your lashes from falling. I really encourage you to give it a try, you’ll love it!

But as much as I love this procedure I also love taking breaks every now and then. So when I’m in my break periods I loooove using my Panasonic heated eyelash curler! This pen like 360° rotating comb will gently heat and comb your lashes giving you a natural or super curl finish.

It’s completely safe for your eyes too, but will take a bit longer to get them curled so be patient. If you are in a hurry take a shortcut using your favorite eyelash curler – the ones that look like scissors – and then give your lashes some heat.

One last thing I will recommend is using very wet mascara formulas and avoid waterproof ones, this will prevent your lashes from weighting down!

Wink wink!
