Alvaro Solares
Alvaro Solares presented a very different collection from the rest of the night. His pieces are a lot more bold and daring. Personally, I liked the first half of the collection more as it was more relaxed and my style, but the long dresses at the end were also very beautiful. His color palette was simple but striking. There was red, neons, white, black and a few prints. There was also a good mix of light and heavier fabrics.
Fabiola Aguilar
Fabiola Aguilar’s brand HALO presented the collection Stella di Mare. It was inspired by starfish and all the beautiful colors and textures from the sea. This collection is very feminine, flirty, but sophisticated. The prints just bring the pieces alive; they are stunning and used perfectly throughout the collection. The jewelry was kept minimal as to not overshadow the clothing, and the make up was fun and bold. Fabiola is growing and evolving as designer, and it’s such a joy to watch! We can’t wait to see what she comes up with in the future!
Raul Robar
Raul Tobar is a jewelry designer for men who’s always been known for his eccentric pieces. Unlike last year, his pieces this season are more relaxed, using more organic and simple materials. I loved the color selection for the necklaces since we saw pieces in vivid colors like yellow, teal, blue, etc. Very appropriate this season. Fashion keeps evolving and we hope that men stop being afraid of taking risks and wear these types of accessories.
Andrea Ayala
There couldn’t have been a better choice to close Fashion Week than Andrea Ayala. Her collection had the classic blue and white palette, but she made it so effortlessly beautiful and classy. The collection became dynamic with the fabric selection- the different textures and patterns made each piece different and the collection was never boring. There were dresses, rompers, shorts, pants, jackets- Andrea did it all. I would have loved to see a couple of bathing suits or a maxi dress since the collection already had a nautical theme going on, but the collection was still so, so, so beautiful. The collection was a mix of casual and some more formal pieces, so there’s something for every occasion.
This is it for Fashion Week. It was incredibly fun to go and be able to appreciate how fashion is evolving in our country. We support each and every one of the designers who presented their collections and wish them great success with their brands.

Alvaro Solares presentó una colección muy diferente a las demás de la noche. Se vieron piezas mucho más osadas y atrevidas. Personalmente, me gustó mucho más la primera mitad de la colección ya que es más relajada y apegada a mi estilo, pero los vestidos largos al final también son muy lindos. Su paleta de colores fue simple pero llamativa. Hubo rojos, verdes, blanco, negro y un par de prints. También hubo una muy buena mezcla de telas livianas y más pesadas.

La marca HALO de Fabiola Aguila presentó la colección Stella di Mare. Está inspirada en las estrellas de mar y todos los colores y texturas hermosas del mar. Esta colección es muy femenina y coqueta pero sofisticada. Los prints le van vida a las prendas; son impresionantes y usados perfectamente a lo largo de la colección. La joyería fue mínima para no opacar las piezas y el maquillaje fue divertido. Fabiola está creciendo y evolucionando como diseñadora, y es realmente un placer poder verlo! No podemos esperar a ver lo que nos presenta en el futuro!
Raul Tobar
Raul Tobar es un diseñador de joyas para hombre que siempre se ha caracterizado por sus piezas excéntricas. A diferencia del año pasado, sus piezas esta temporada son mucho más relajadas, utilizando materiales más orgánicos y simples. Me encantó la selección de color para los collares, ya que vimos piezas en colores vivos como amarillo, verde, azul, etc. Muy adecuado para la temporada. La moda sigue evolucionando y esperamos que también los hombres se quiten el miedo de tomar riesgos y utilizar este tipo de accesorios.
Andrea Ayala
No pudo haber una mejor elección para cerrar Fashion Week que Andrea Ayala. Su colección tuvo una paleta de colores muy clásica en blancos y azules, pero lo hizo tan naturalmente hermoso y clásico. La colección se volvió dinámica con la selección de telas- las diferentes tetaras y patrones hicieron cada prenda diferente y la colección nunca fue aburrida. Hubo vestidos, rompers, shorts, pantalones, chaquetas- Andrea hizo de todo. Me hubiera gustado ver un par de trajes de baño o maxi vestidos ya que la colección tenía un concepto náutico, pero la colección fue muy, muy, muy preciosa. La colección fue una mezcla de ropa casual y piezas más formales, así que hay algo para cada ocasión.
Esto es todo de Fashion Week. Fue muy divertido ir y apreciar cómo la moda está evolucionando en nuestro país. Apoyamos a cada uno de los diseñadores que presentaron colecciones y les deseamos mucho éxito con sus marcas.
